Sony Pictures Moves Ahead with Adaptation of GOOSEBUMPS With a Star in Sight

RL Stine helped convert an entire generation to the world of horror in the early to mid 90's with his made-for-children horror novels Goosebumps. Heaven knows, I had my Goosebump sheets, and I have to say, they are most likely the reason I'm so god damn obsessed with this shit today.

Sony Pictures has announced plans for an adaptation of the popular children's book/television series, and while they have already nailed down a director in Rob Letterman (Monsters vs. Aliens, Shark Tale), The Warp is reporting that they have a big name in negotiations to star.

None other than, Jack Black.

So, chew on that one.
