The highly anticipated follow up to Steven R. Monroe's I Spit On Your Grave will make it's world premier at this year's UK FrightFest in London's iconic Leicester Square on August 25th. A special "festival edition" has been prepared for the event, and this will be the first audience to feast their eyes on the blood and carnage that it's sure to deliver.
Steven R. Monroe returns to the directors chair for the sequel, which I think is great. I was a bit hesitant upon hearing the news, but knowing that he's behind it gives me hope. New comer Jemma Dallendar has the leading role.
“Naturally beautiful, Jessica has just settled into New York where she, like many other young women, is trying to make it as a model. But what starts out as an innocent and simple photo shoot soon turns into something disturbingly unthinkable! Raped, tortured and kidnapped to a foreign country, Jessica is buried alive and left to die. Against all odds, she manages to escape. After it's premier at FrightFest, the film will be making it's way to DVD and Blu Ray on September 24th.
