Mary Shelley's Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus is one of the great horror novelizations of all time, perhaps even the greatest, in my humble opinion. Written on a dreary summer's day at Lord Byron's estate on Lake Geneva, it became a heart breaking that has been told a million different ways in a thousand different formats.
I, Frankenstein, starring Aaron Eckhart and Bill Nighy, just got it's first TV spot. I'm not sure if they told Lakeshore (producers for Underworld) that they weren't making another Underworld flick. The Australian flick hits the big screen (even IMAX) on January 24, 2014.
“200 years after his shocking creation, Dr. Frankenstein’s creature, Adam, still walks the earth. But when he finds himself in the middle of a war over the fate of humanity, Adam discovers he holds the key that could destroy humankind.”
